Lorri Osborn Hawkins, age 60, of Opelika Texas, passed away on January 30, 2022, in Tyler Texas, after a long courageous fight with COVID pneumonia. Lorri was born, on January 9, 1962, to the late CT and Fran Osborn. She accepted Jesus Christ into her life at an early age and was a faithful Christian throughout her 60 years. In May 1980 Lorri was a proud graduate of Brownsboro High School. Then one week later on June 7, 1980, she married Harold Gene Hawkins, the love of her life.
Harold and Lorri were happily married for 41 years and during that time they were blessed with 3 beautiful daughters, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. You could always find Harold and Lorri at whatever event their girls or grandchildren were participating in. In 1988 Lorri began her 30-year employment with Brownsboro ISD. During those 30 years she worked on every campus in many different positions and made many lifelong friends. In 2018 she was blessed to retire and travel with Harold for his job.
Lorri is preceded in death by her brother Jeffery Osborn, parents CT and Fran Osborn, in-laws Wayne and Lavern Hawkins and brother-in-law Larry Bright.
Lorri is survived by her husband Harold of 41 years; daughter Latisha Calhoun and husband Greg; daughter Raynebeaux Sims and husband Matt; daughter Kayla Arnold and husband Michael; grandchildren Sarah Calhoun, Hayden Estridge and fiancé Presley Redden, Hunter Estridge, Gus Sims, Hannah Sims, Aaron Sims, Mary Sims, and MiKayla Arnold; great grandson Axel Estridge. Lorri is also survived by her sisters, brother-in-law's and loving family Cindy Bright; Sheri Williams and husband Steve; Tammy Anderson; Ronnie Hawkins and wife Rita; Johnny Hawkins and wife Meadora; and a whole host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that she dearly loved.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Red Hill Cemetery.
