Born, Oct. 20, 1891, in Russia. Came to the US in 1898 to Gettysburg, SD and move to Strasburg and later the Towner area. Married Lean Jaeger on Nov. 10, 1913, at Towner. She died Sept. 5, 1960, and he married Alma Schwan in 1962 at Aberdeen, SD. He served on the township board and the Towner City Commission for several terms.
