A Hugh Leatherwood Sr of Douglasville, a retired attorney, died Saturday [Monday] at Douglas General Hospital. He was 80.
The graveside service will be 1 pm Wednesday at Westview Cemetery.
He was a graduate of Atlanta Law School and an Army veteran of World War II. He belonged to Masonic Lodge 289 and Douglasville First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs Nellie Vining Leatherwood of Douglasville; a son, A Hugh Leatherman Jr, of Enterprise, Ala; a sister, Mrs Agnes White of Chattanooga, Tenn; one grandchild and six great-grandchildren.
