Claud Leatherwood, 1420 Beatie Ave, SW, died last night at his residence following a short illness.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Henry M Blanchard and Son.
Mr Leatherwood was for 43 years an engineer for the Southern Railway. He retired in January, 1949.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, A H Leatherwood of Douglasville, and R A Leatherwood, of Atlanta; two daughters, Mrs J Freeman White and Mrs Hughlon Brannon, both of Atlanta; six sisters, Mrs John Hicks and Mrs Ida Davis, both of Atlanta; six sisters, Mrs John Hicks and Mrss Ida Davis, both of Atlanta, Mrs Henry Green, of Birmingham, Mrs Sam Cole, of Villa Rica, Mrs Amanda Ford, of Dallas, Ga, and Mrs John Matthews, also of Villa Rica; and five grandchildren.
