MOTHER OF COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT IS CALLED BY DEATH

Mrs. Nettie Taylor Succumbs At Grenada Hospital Following Operation for Appendicitis.

Mrs. Nettie Taylor, 74, died at the Hospital in Grenada Sunday morning following an operation for appendicitis, due to the lady's age the outcome of the operation was considered grave before it was attempted.

Mrs. Taylor was buried at Mt. Pisgah the church in which she held her membership and for years had been a devout member. The last rites were said by Rev. Vasser McDonald. Interment followed in the church Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor was a native of Montgomery, residing here almost her entire life. For a few years she lived in Yalobusha County but returned to her native home following the death of her husband several years ago.

The deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. L. F. Ware of Duck Hill: two sons. M. P. Taylor, county superintendent of education, Winona, and Denson Taylor of Duck Hill; two sisters, Mrs. T. M. Tyler, Duck Hill and Mrs. Lila Hubbard. Memphis; two brothers, John Taylor and Thos. Taylor, Duck Hill

Sovice Anthonettia Taylor

The W.M. Taylor stands for William Melton Taylor of Yalobusha County (He was married 3 times). They had 3 children, Mary Lou, Moses Pipkin and Nathaniel Denson. Actually, she married a William Tom Taylor first, a step-brother, I believe, since her father was married at least 3 times.
