Born in Faulkner County, Arkansas he was a son of the late Carl Otis and Opal Grace Shock Heffington. Mr. Heffington was a retired Electrical Engineer in Textiles; he was a life member of the Cooper Masonic Lodge in Travelers Rest; a member of the Hejaz Shrine Temple and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his sister, Lois Maye Heffington Brown and many loving grandchildren, nieces and Masonic Brothers.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Carl Otis Heffington, Jr.
A Memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday, February 26, 2022, in The Howze Mortuary Chapel, Travelers Rest, SC.
Burial in the Heffington Family Cemetery in Enola, Arkansas.
