Doris Anderson: Newspaper Obituary and Death NoticeSalt Lake Tribune, The (UT) - December 15, 1993Deceased Name: Doris AndersonAURORA/SALINA--Doris Elaine Dewey Anderson, age 85, of Aurora and Salina, died December 12, 1993 in the Richfield Care Center.She was born October 24, 1908 near Comfrey, Minnesota to Fred Daniel and Lula Mae Partridge Dewey.She married Levar Anderson of Koosharem, Utah on July 18, 1941 in Ely, Nevada. He died February 17, 1977.Doris was baptized a member of the LDS Church in 1978 in the River Jordan in Israel. She received her endowments in 1990. She was an artist and a writer in earlier years and helped her husband run a chicken ranch.She is survived by a daughter, Maureen Hill, of California; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; niece, Mae Peterson, and a nephew, Douglas Anderson, both of Aurora; sister-in-law, Marion Dewey of California.She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Richard.Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 16, 1993, at 12 noon, in the Warren R. Jensen Funeral Home in Salina, Utah. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m. and again on Thursday, one hour prior to the services. Interment in the Salina East-Side Cemetery.
