Aaron Gallion, 40 of Grayson, left this world for his eternal home Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born June 14, 1981 in Ashland, KY; the son of Harold David (Becky) Gallion and Erica Wellman Gallion of Grayson.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Nathaniel Ross Gallion; his paternal grandparents, Harold and Madgel Gallion; maternal grandfather, Harold Wellman; maternal great- grandmother, Faye Pope Burnett; an uncle, Luke Wellman.

Aaron was a graduate of the class of 2000 from East Carter High School. He led the Raiders to many wins during his years of basketball. He was avid fan of the UK Wildcat; you could always tell when they were playing because he would yell, jump and carryon for them. He was a boilermaker with Local # 40, Alliance Telephone Company and recently gaining his counseling certificate for drug therapy was something he was proud of. NASCAR, dirt track racing, fishing, building and flying remote control airplanes are just a few things he was passionate about.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Spencer Aaron Gallion of Catlettsburg, KY; a daughter, Alexis Ryan Gallion of Grayson; three sisters, Ashley Gallion, and Lindsey Ishee both of Grayson and Brandi Conley of Rush; a grandmother, Sue Wellman; uncles, Jeff Wellman, and Chris Bradford; aunt, Pam (June) Pennington; a great uncle, Tony (Bee) Pope; a sister-in-law, Tiffany Barrows; nephews and a niece, Kobe, Carter, Kyler, Conner, Kyran, Landon, Colton, Bennett, and Brooklyn; cousins, Travis, Evan, and JT Wellman; special friends, Richie Edwards, Josh Kiser, Joey Gembarowski, Jonathon (Red) Johnson, and Brad Wireman; he will sadly be missed by his fishing buddy, Carter.

Pallbearers are Brian Rivers, Greg Rivers, Kobe Gallion, Evan Wellman, Richie Edwards, Jonathon Johnson, Jr. Ishee, and Josh Kiser. Honorary pallbearers are JT Wellman, Travis Wellman, Carter Edwards, and Jeff Wellman.
