He was married to my mother Genevieve for 44 years and was my stepfather. We spent many years together in California, Nevada, Arizona (Navajo and Hopi Reservations 15 year for them 21 years me), and many visits to Lake Sumner, NM. He has 3 stepchildren myself Cynthia Beverforden, of Arizona my sister Diane Beverforden Neilsen of North Carolina, and my brother David Beverforden (who passed in 2019). Also, he has two step-grandsons Mark Beverforden of California and Erik Jonasson of Las Vegas, New Mexico. Plus, a step great-grandson Jacob Beverforden of California. I am so glad he was able to reconnect with his daughter and son at the end of his life. He is buried with my mother at Saint Anthony Cemetery, Fort Sumner, New Mexico.
