SIKESTON - Lena Marie Daugherty, 96, died Aug. 14, 2007, at West Ridge Place in Sikeston.

Born Oct. 11, 1910, in Greenbrier, to the late B.F. and Mittie Sherry Acord, she was a member of the Tanner Street Church of God and had been employed as a machine operator at International Shoe.

On Oct. 11, 1931, she married Cecil Daugherty who preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 2004.

Survivors include: two daughters, Lena Wood of Sikeston and Linda Faye MacNamara of Dallas; five granddaughters, Debra Dewitt of Destin, Fla., Kathryn Huffman of Dallas, Marcia Duncan and Susan Dillender of Sikeston and Rosemary Latham of Chaffee; and nine great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Larry Smith, associate pastor of Tanner Street Church of God, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
