Services for Audrey Ann Mickley, 89, a longtime Burden resident, were Saturday at Wheeler Funeral Home Chapel, Burden. Burial was at Burden Cemetery.

She died Jan. 27, 1993, at the Good Samaritan Village in Winfield, where she had lived since January 1985.

She was born Feb. 6, 1903, near Burden, to John Calvin and Ada Peter Ore. After graduating from Burden High School in 1922, she attended Ottawa University and business colleges in Winfield and Ottawa.

On Dec. 22, 1924, she married Nathan A. Brewster in Burden. He died in 1932. She married Joseph David Mickley on March 8, 1936, in Burden. He died in 1975.

A homemaker, she was a longtime member of the Burden First Baptist Church. She had served as president of the residents' council at the Good Samaritan Village.

Survivors include a son, the Rev. Ronald D. Mickley, Lawrence; a daughter, Ann Alexander, Burden; a brother, Ray Ore, Burden; a sister, Golda Ridings, Winfield; a stepsister, Nina Brooks, Burden; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
