Larry Gene Ashcraft of Williamstown, KY was born January 13, 1941 in Williamstown and died Monday, January 17, 2022 at his residence at the age of 81.

He was the son of the late Issac Oral and Lenora Marie Yelton Ashcraft. He retired in 2002 as Equipment Supervisor for the Kentucky Department of Transportation after 41 years, he was also a Traffic School Instructor and farmer, Member of the Grant Lodge #85 F & AM, and a member of the Williamstown Christian Church. On Dec. 4, 1959 he was united in marriage to his wife Freda Mae Shelton Ashcraft who preceded him in death in 2010. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his son Anthony Todd Ashcraft in 2003 and 2 brothers Donald and Joe Ashcraft.

Surviving is 1 daughter, Gina Robin (James J.) Jones of Williamstown; 4 grandchildren, Gabby (Matt) Patterson, Paige (Brandon) Hurley, Eli (Mackenzie) Anderson, and Arielle Ashcraft; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery.
