Vicki Lang, 70, of Pocatello, ID, passed away on January 13, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Vicki, born on July 19, 1951 to Walter "Boots" Bender and Kathryn Bender in Louisville, KY, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Vicki went on to graduate from Presentation Academy in 1969.

On July 4, 1970, she met Wes Lang at a USO dance in Louisville, KY, they were married on August 1, 1970 and started out on their world traveling adventure with the US Army. Vicki and Wes were married for over 51 years and had three daughters: Shelly, Mariah and Katy.

Vicki was a fiercely dedicated, strong, and independent wife and mother, raising three equally dedicated, strong, and independent children. Vicki was the family's biggest cheerleader and our constant supporter. Our family would not be where it is today if we didn't have her as a mother and wife.

Vicki was a passionate and talented baker and cake maker throughout her life, and in her later years she became an accomplished knitter, creating treasured gifts for her family and friends. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, reading, and taking long drives in the mountains with the love of her life and their two dogs.

Vicki enjoyed a career in the real estate industry as a loan officer for many years. She was a well known and respected member within the industry and made many lifelong friends through her career.

Vicki was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Kathryn Bender, her brothers Mark Bender and Donald Key.

She is survived by her husband Wes, her daughters Shelly (and Kenneth), Mariah, and Katy (and James), her grandchildren Joshua, Becca, Taylor, Cooper, Cameron, Aidan, Akyra, and Asher, a great granddaughter Gracie, and her sisters Kathy (and David), and Brenda (and Mike).

The family requests that all flowers and condolences be sent to Wilks Funeral Home at 211 W Chubbuck Rd, Chubbuck, ID 83202. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, January 19 from 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held January 20 at 10am at Wilks Funeral Home. Final interment will be at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Blackfoot, ID.
