Felix B. Benavidez, 92, of Cedar Creek, Texas, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at 3:40 pm in Cedar Creek, Texas. He was born on April 13, 1929 to Ramon Pedro Benavidez and Natividad Benavides Benavidez in Encino, Texas.


Felix worked as a Master Carpenter and truck driver for over 45 years until his retirement.


He is preceded in death by his parents Ramon Pedro Benavidez and Natividad Benavides Benavidez, brothers Pedro, Cristoforo, Hacinto Benavidez (Died at 6 Month of age) and Domingo Benavidez, sister Lucia Benavidez Villarreal, Step-Mother Rosa Benavidez. Granddaughter, Violet Bredna Benavidez Orosco and Grandson, Michael Brandon Benavidez Hernandez


He is survived by his beautiful wife of 72 years, Amanda Benavidez, of Cedar Creek, Tx., daughter, Edna (Nick) Benavidez Martinez and two sons Gary Lee (Anna) Benavidez of Kyle, Texas and Robert (Linda) Martinez of Houston, Texas.


He is also survived by his half-sister Carolina Benavidez of Encino, Texas, one sister-in-law Marta Benavidez of San Antonio, Texas.


Pallbearers: Christopher Benavidez Hernandez Sr., Christopher Hernandez Jr., Michelle Benavidez Hernandez, Araceli Benavidez Martinez, Theo Menchaca and David Torres.


Viewing will be on Tuesday from 1pm till 2pm at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin, Texas.


Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Austin, Texas.
