Edwin C. Waugh, Jr.

66 years of age, Eddie passed away of natural causes on Saturday April 10, 2021, in Albuquerque, NM.

Born 7/16/1954 in La Junta, CO to Donna Jessie Crockett and Edwin C. Waugh Sr. A 1973 graduate of Crowley County High school, Eddie participated in basketball, football and baseball.

Eddie retired in March 2020 after coaching for 20 years at Eisenhower Middle School in Albuquerque, NM. He coached both boys and girls basketball, girls track and volleyball. His coaching led the school to numerous district championships across all three sports. He coached both of his sons in Little League Baseball and one son in numerous basketball leagues. Eddie touched many lives during his days of coaching and will be missed.

Eddie worked as a water purification technician for Southwest Water (Culligan) in Albuquerque for 20 years where he earned numerous Employee of the Year and other awards.

He is survived by wife Jan of 32 years; two sons, John Miller of Rio Rancho, NM and Timothy Waugh of Albuquerque, NM; two grandchildren, Cierra and Brennan Miller of Rio Rancho, NM; brothers - Richard & Theresa Waugh of Albuquerque, NM and Ricky & Della Waugh of Rocky Ford, CO; sisters - Dianna & Dale Adams of Lamar, CO and Cindy & Scott Campbell of Colorado City, CO; mother-in-law Wanda Lee Miller, Carbondale, IL; brothers-in-law Mark & Jane Miller, Marion, IL; Roger & Crystal Miller, Herrin, IL; David Miller, Herrin, IL; Bob and Angie Knope, Murphysboro, IL; sisters-in-law Terri Robles, Niceville, FL; Michelle Miller, Hingham, MT; Pam Palmer, Coulterville, IL; an aunt and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by father Edwin C Waugh, Sr; mother Donna Jessie Waugh; sister Patricia L. Waggonner; brother-in-law Allen Ringle; father-in-law Wayne Miller; Mother-in-law Eleanor Miller; nephew Gerald L. Lucero; paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Private interment, due to COVID-19, will be at Valley View Cemetery in Ordway, Colorado.
