Brenda Holt Nelson, 73, of Manila, passed away at Great River Medical Center on Jan. 4, 2022. She was born Aug. 4, 1948 in Lost Cane to James Rushing and Elsie McCallie Vermillion. Brenda enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. She was very caring and her love for others was very well known.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Holt of Manila; one daughter, Rhonda Nelson of Paragould; one brother, Doyle McCallie of Manila; four sisters, Karenn Daniel of Mountain Home, Helen Johnson of Burdette, Sharon Stone of Manila, Connie Kelly of Paragould; meme to six grandchildren, Hunter, Caitlin, Kaleb, Brayden, Kaylee, Tatum; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Ronald Nelson; and one son, Tim Holt.
The family has requested private services.
