Graveside services for Charles Emory Horne, 89, of Reynolds will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Dodge County. Mr. Horne passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at County Gardens Assisted Living.

He retired from the US Air Force and had served as Commander of the Taylor County American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel Ernest Horne and Susie Cleo Sapp Horne and a daughter, Elana A. Horne Wilbanks.

Survivors include his wife, Beulah Horne of Reynolds; one son, Charles Kevin Horne (Jo Lee) of Warner Robins; two daughters, Susan Danner (Charles) of Chattanooga, TN and Linda Holmes (Phillip) of Plano, TX; two sisters, Ernestine Griffith of North Carolina and Marie Parker of Escondido, CA; ten grandchildren, Bradley, Jeremy, and Bethany Horne, Steven Johns, Chad Danner, Angela Bennett (Brian), Olivia Williams David Whitson, Asa Whitmore, and Kayla Summers; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.

McLeighton Funeral Service of Butler is in charge of arrangements.
