JOSEPH G. HUNTER

Joseph Greenwood Hunter, 86, 2301 Hillside Drive, Burlingame, died Tuesday at Peninsula Hospital, after an illness. He was a native of American Fork, Utah, and a local resident 43 years.

He was formerly director of transportation for the California Public Utilities Commission, a member of of the board of review of the Air Pollution Control Board, and a Director of the Bay Area Rapid Transit District. He was a member of the San Mateo Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Bess; a daughter Mrs. Betty Sandifur, El Cerrito; a brother, John, Glendale: two sisters, Mrs. Dora Floyd, Tooele, Utah, and Mrs. Alice Jensen, Salt Lake City; one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.

Masonic funeral services were held today at the Crosby-N Gray Chapel, Burlingame, with entombment at Skylawn Memorial Park west of San Mateo
Memorial contributions may be made at the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children or the American Heart Association.
