DAVIS -- Services for Bessie Mae Penner will be 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Revs. Randy Chapman and Finis Steelman officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Born Feb. 28, 1921, at Titus County, Texas, to Willis P. and Myrtle Looney Honeycutt, she died April 17, 1998, at a Pauls Valley hospital.
She married James Harding Penner on Feb. 10, 1977, at Gainesville, Texas. Mrs. Penner had lived in the area most of her life. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; three stepdaughters, Louise Stewart, Seminole, Patricia Loghry, Tulsa, and Betty Cormany, Paoli; one stepson, Jimmy David Penner, Dallas; one sister, Zelma Rogers, Davis; seven step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
