Mr. Frank died yesterday at Clayburn & Hughes Nursing Home in Franklin.
Appointed as a federal probation officer in 1939 by Judge Elmer Davies, Mr. Frank also worked under Judge Sam Phelps in Davidson County Circruit Court. He was married to the late Jean Noble Frank.
Mr. Frank was a charter member of the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce and was a member of Camden Masonic Lodge No. 179 since 1935. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Survivors include a son, Richard H. Frank Jr., Nashville; a daughter, Jean Massey, Brentwood; and five grandchildren.
