According to the 1994 Munder Family Tree (and other written stories) Willard was born on the Judson family farm with his Aunt Louise Sack acting as midwife. He attended the Spring Valley farm school until the family's move to New Salem. Willard served in the US Army in Thailand and Hawaii. After his discharge in 1965 he returned to New Salem. On 8 Sept 1966 he married Judy Kendall (3/22/1943) in Puyallup, WA. They had 3 children, Tamara born in 1963 in Tacoma, WA, Willard Jr. born 1968 in Lahaina, HI and Jody Lynn born in 1971 in Puyallup WA. He worked for Kaiser Aluminum in Washington. Willard was later married to Marjorie Wassmann (3/27/1932) in Las Vegas in 1982.
