Lawrence William "Jerry" Sears passed away Jan. 4, 2022. He was born Oct. 1, 1953, in Waukegan, Ill., to Arthur J. Sears and Velma "Mae" (Best) Sears. Jerry attended Waukegan Township High School and Illinois Wesleyan Univ. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Jerry was a very outgoing guy who never met a stranger and had many friends.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Corrine (sic) Kay DeNardis (Jack) and Patricia Ann Watson (Dennis). Jerry is survived by son David Arthur Sears, granddaughter Jessica Emily Sears, sisters Judy McGuinness (Don) and Colleen Larson (Al), ex-wife Sue Sears (Bowen), daughter-in-law Stacy Sears, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
