She was preceded in death in 2020 by her beloved husband of 70 years, Allen Langston, and her loving grandson, Aaron "Tony" Karnes. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Trennie (Everett) Sims; four brothers, Owen, Whitey, Howard, and Marvin "Bo" Sims, all of Graysville; and three sisters, Gladys Martin, Lillie Mae Elsea, and Nellie Ruth Rose, all of Graysville.

Our precious loved one has now entered into Heaven, a place described in the Holy Bible in I Corinthians 2:9, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."
