Mrs. Mary E. Groves, 89, of Ohio Avenue, died Friday afternoon at her residence. A native of South Carolina, Mrs. Groves was a resident of Tampa for 31 years. Survivors are a son, Walter Groves, Waterbury, S.C.; four daughters, Mrs. Irene Owings, Mrs. Hallie Ritter, both of Tampa, Mrs Lula Carter, Orlando, and Mrs. Candesie McMolin, Lutz; also 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. [EDITED]
