IRENE OWINGS, 94, of Tampa, died Friday. A native of South Carolina, she had been a resident of the Tampa Bay area for 65 years, coming from Walterboro, S.C. She was a member of Ballast Point Baptist Church. She is survived by five daughters, Augusta McKinney of Fruitland Park, Ruby Luddington and Lena Vaughan, both of Tampa, Effie Sadler of Brandon, and Faye McSwain of Atlanta; a sister, Lula Carter of Orlando; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
