Christine (Stevens) Bays, 83, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. She was born on June 27, 1938, in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, to Issac and Cynthia (Hamilton) Stevens.
She was a long-time member of Graceland Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her daughters, Renée Riggsby and Trina Sheckell.
Christine is survived by her children, Dana Smith (Duane), Karen Saltsgaver (Nevin), and Christopher Bays (Rogene); grandchildren, Jason Riggsby, Derek Riggsby, Kylee Bays, Garrett Bays, Nevin Saltsgaver II, Jacob Saltsgaver (Savannah), Cynthia Hall (Matt), and Olivia Popham (Jamie); and great-grandchildren, Jevan, Hudson, Carter, Morgan, and Julianna.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.. Her funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Brother Jeff Barbour and Rev. Joey Pyle officiating. Burial will follow at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens in New Albany.
