Jane A. Travis, 83, of Pana passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born December 30, 1937 in Moweaqua, IL to the late Ned & Charmelle (Faingnaert) Adams. She married Ron Wade and they later divorced.
Jane had worked for Johnston's IGA & Webb's Greenhouse. Retired after 29 years from the B.P. gas station. She was a member of the Pana Eagles Club. She enjoyed shopping and loved her grandchildren more than anything.
Jane is survived by her children: Jeff Wade, Pana, IL; Steve (Beckey) Wade, Pana, IL; Tonda (Paul) Rhodes, Pana, IL; 8 grandchildren: Shannon Wade, Justin Gibbs, Charles Jackson, Paul Rhodes, Jr., Sophia Wade, Austin Rhodes, Johnathan Wade & Adeline Wade; 6 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Adams, Owaneco, IL. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Donald Adams, Gerald Adams, Earl Adams, Norma Jean Adams, Janice Zharadka & Millie Dial
Cremation rites will be accorded and a graveside inurnment service will be in Adams-Gordon Cemetery, Moweaqua at a later date.
