She was born February 5, 1942 in Newville, WV. Mary had resided in Elyria for 53 years and she was a member of West Ridge Baptist Church in Amherst. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, traveling and camping.
Mary Harper is survived by: her husband, Kenneth . Harper; five daughters, Linda Harper, Bonnie Hamilton (Richard), Peggy Harper and Janice Smith, all of Elyria, and Shirley Provoznik (Daniel) of Olympia, WA; five granddaughters, Elizabeth Hamilton, Amber Whitesell, Melinda Veres (Andrew), Kaleigh Smith and Lindsey Smith; three grandsons, Jesse Hamilton, Christopher Provoznik and Daniel "Scotty" Provoznik; 11 great-granddaughters; nine great-grandsons; three sisters, Alice Williams, Marge Frick and Peggy Hamner; and two brothers, James and Pete Hamner.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Alva and Lulu 'Pearl' (nee Blankenship) Hamner; a grandson, Kenneth E. Hamilton in 1979; a great-grandson, Alex Hamilton in 2007; five sisters, Irene Beamer, Joetta Geoff, Annamae Wolfgang, Beatrice Allen and Catherine Wade; and one brother, Jack Hamner.
The family welcomes friends to join them for visitation on Saturday December 12, 2020 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at West Ridge Baptist Church, 46280 Telegraph Rd in Amherst. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Roger Rice officiating the service. A private family graveside service will be held on Monday December 14, 2020 at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
