Mrs. Mary beloved wife of Frank Kershner of Williamson, died on Christmas morning at 1:30 o'clock, after an illness of about 18 months, of cancer of the stomach. Mrs. Kershner was a kind and affectionate wife and mother. She leaves her husband and several children. She was a woman that was well liked by all her neighbors. During her long sickness she was never heard to complain, as she had put her trust, in Him who does all things right. Her burial took place on Tuesday last at 9:30 a.m. Services were held in the Reformed church of Williamson, where the remains were followed to their last resting place in the beautiful cemetery at Greencastle by a large concourse of friends and neighbors. She was an aunt of Mrs. David Wise of near this place.
