Vernon Clark, Jr., 79, passed away August 16, 2013 in Georgetown, Kentucky. He was born December 11, 1933 in Paris, Kentucky to the late Vernon Clark and Martha Belle Vest. He was a veteran of the Army and Navy.
He is survived by children Ricky Clark of Lexington; Shelly (Bryon) Dolin of Georgetown; Kim (Mark) Counts of Shelbyville; and Dwayne (Kristen) Clark of Georgetown. A granddaughter, that he raised, Jessica Offutt and 7 other grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brother Gerald Duncan of Clay City; sister Lillian (Lloyd) Burrows of Cynthiana. He was preceded in death by son Gary Clark.
Graveside services are 11am, Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Georgetown Cemetery with Pastor Bryon Dolin officiating. Visiting hours are 10-11am, Thursday at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home.
