Mrs. Credeur was born July 30, 1930 in Arnaudville, LA and has lived in Lake Charles for the past forty-two years. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church for the past forty years. She was an avid cook and loved to spend time with her family. During her younger years, she and her husband, Harold, enjoyed dancing. More recently, for fun she loved to play the slot machines at the local casinos.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Credeur; son, Gary Credeur; daughter, Darlene Menou; her parents; four brothers; and one sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rickey Credeur and wife Brenda, Jackie Credeur and wife Elaine; and daughter, Cindy Istre and husband David; brothers, Emery LaGrange and wife JoAnn and Lenny LaGrange; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Father Nathan Long will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at St. Margaret on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
