"Roy Jenkins, 57, of 2720 N.W. Powderhorn Dr., died Monday at St Luke's Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Taney County, Missouri, and had lived here 23 years. Mr. Jenkins had been a machinist for Data Documents, Inc., 14 years. He was an elder of the Liberty Christian Union Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Memorial Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Louise C. Jenkins of the home; four sons, Ronald R. Jenkins of 8712 N. Edison, Nick Jenkins of 5024 N. Richmond, Kenneth H. Jenkins of Liberty and Gary S. Jenkins of 3200 N.E. 53rd; three brothers, Enoch Jenkins of Springfield, Mo., and Earl Jenkins and Burl Jenkins of Rueter, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Robinson of Rueter; and 13 grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Newcomer White Chapel; burial in White Chapel Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Heart Fund." The Kansas City Times, August 17, 1976
