Funeral services for Burl Jenkins, 77, of Rueter, will be held at 1 p.m. today (Nov. 6) at Fairview Church, located on Mo. 125 near Rueter, with Rev. David Holvick officiating. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery under direction of Kissee Mortuary and Chapel of Forsyth. He died Nov. 2 at Cox Medical Center-South in Springfield.
Mr. Jenkins was a lifelong resident of Taney County and had been a farmer most of his life.
Survivors include one sister, Dorothy Robertson of Theodosia, one sister-in-law, Louise Jenkins of the Kansas City area; and several nieces and nephews.
