Mrs. Cornelia B. Card died 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 1976, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was 56, a native of Boyce. Body at Hollabaugh Spindle's Wooddale Memorial Chapel from 8 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. Wednesday. Religious services at the Lanier Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday conducted by Rev. T.W. Terrell. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her husband, Finis L. Card, Baton Rouge; mother, Mrs. Maud J. Baker, Alexandria; one daughter, Miss Alice Jane Card, Baton Rouge; two sons, Douglas and David Card, both of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mrs. William (Jane) Horne of Chipley, Fla., Mrs. Harold (Maud Nell) David, Erwinville, and Mrs. Dauby (Jo) James Sr., Baton Rouge; three brothers, Rev. John P. Baker of Rapid City, S.D., Lt. Col. Richard Baker, of Pineville, and Champ L. Baker, Alexandria. Preceded in death by her father, Richard Baker; a daughter, Debra Lula Card; and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Provost. She was a member of the Lanier Baptist Church and the adult choir, a teach in the East Baton Rouge Parish school system. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lanier Baptist Church or Baton Rouge Cancer Society.
