Albany Times-Union - Wednesday, January 5, 1927:

Mrs. Giovanna Bruno, 73, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Castellani, 320 Madison Avenue, after a brief illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Bruno was born in Italy. The family of which she was a member, was one of the Italian nobility. Her daughter, Luisa DeConciliis, married into one of the titled families of England, her husband being an English lord. He died during the World War. Mrs. Bruno had been living in this country almost sixteen years. Surviving are three sons, Felix DeConciliis of New York; Louis and John F. Bruno of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two daughters, Luisa, of England, and Mrs. John (Matilde) Castellani of Albany.

The funeral will be Friday morning from the residence, and later from St. Anthony's Church, where a solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. V. Padula and Sons are in charge of arrangements.
