Blanche (Longino) Rollins

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that the Rollins family announce the death of beloved Blanche at 83 years of age. Blanche, a resident of Bayou Chicot, passed away at Matthew Memorial Health Care Center, in Alexandria, on December 14, 2021.
Blanche is proceeded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, George Edward Rollins; her daughter, Dewonna Kay Rigdon; and her son, David "Benny "Rollins; her great-granddaughter, Addyson Nicole Bertrand; her parents, Jasper Longino and Jessie Chelette Longino Vidrine; four brothers, John, Edward, Alva "Ray" and James Longino; and three sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Ionia Latour and Drucella Goutro.
Those left to mourn her loss are her sister, Viola "Trudy" Landreneau; her son, Eugene Keith Rollins (Kim) of Turkey Creek; her daughter, Maria "Peanut" Bertrand Augustine (David) of Poland; five grandchildren, Eugene Paul Rollins, Amanda Rigdon, Danielle Bertrand Leboeuf, Jean Paul Bertrand and Shellie Rollins; five great-grandchildren, Haylee, Dakota, TDale, Lucas, and Ollie Angelle.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Ferguson Cemetery, in Bayou Chicot, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
