Shane Michael Greer, 63, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. He was born on January 1, 1958 to John Galen Greer and Mary Margaret Greer in Tribune, Kansas.

Shane grew up in Selkirk with five brothers and two sisters. Shane graduated from Wichita County High school in 1976. He then graduated from Baker University in 1981 where he played football for the Wildcats. Shane worked at Sysco and Cardinal Health for the past thirty plus years. Shane married Vicki in 2007. Shane has opened up his home to many foster children for the past twelve years. Shane loved his wife, kids, and grandkids with all his heart. He enjoyed going to high school football games, watching Chiefs and Pitt State football, science fiction movies and books, he loved having BBQs and pool time with family and friends, playing dominoes and poker while sipping on Crown Royal.

Shane is preceded in death by his Father John Galen Greer, Mother Mary Margaret Greer, and Sister Mary Powers.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and is ex wife. Also his brothers and sister.
