Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Marie Greenway Coglin, age 93, of Midville, GA on Friday, December 3, 2021, at the Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 6, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the Union Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Carnley officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday, at the Church one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 PM.
Interment will follow in the Union Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Marie was born August 3, 1928 in Summertown, Emanuel County, GA, to the late Thomas and Hattie Joiner Greenway and was retired from the State Department of Mental Health. She was a lifelong member of Union Grove United Methodist Church and a member of the UMW. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, and grandmother; her greatest joy and accomplishment was her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Buddy" Coglin; sisters, Norma, Louise and Jeanette; brothers, Troy, Warren, Rufus, Edward, Walter and Fed.
