inda Jean Wallace Taylor, passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2021 in the presence of her eternal partner and husband Vaughn Brent Taylor and her five children, Anna, Katie, Jonathan, Dana and Lindsay.

Linda was born on the Autumn-day of October 31st 1942, to Andrew Wallace and Marie Healy Wallace and grew up in Murray, Utah on her family farm. She grew up camping, hunting and fishing with her family and adored the outdoors, nature and the Uintah and Wasatch mountains. She attended Granger High School and graduated in 1960 and went on to attend Brigham Young University where she graduated in 1964 with a degree in teaching. BYU is also where she met the love of her life, Vaughn Taylor whom she married and was sealed to in the Salt Lake City Temple on December 18, 1964. They raised their family in Utah, California, and Canada, coming home to Utah where Linda then completed her distinguished 20-year teaching career at Cottonwood High School. She was an example of a teacher who embraced and honoured all. A model of inclusion and diversity, she was loved by all of her students who will remember her love of learning, books, arts and culture and providing focus on indigenous populations. Her children will remember her for her unconditional love, embracing hugs, love of music and dance, her international cooking, healthy baking, her progressive snack recipes and spending hours in the garden together.

Throughout her life she dedicated her spare time to volunteer service in her community and church. She survived her Alzheimer's diagnosis for five years with grace, dignity, and determination and with the love and tenacity of her family remained relevant to the conversation. She was admired by her dedicated and loving caregivers, who went above and beyond to provide her daily comfort and improve her quality of life.

She is survived by her husband and their five children and their spouses Anna Maidon (Aaron Felker); Katie Manousakis (Finn Edmunds); Jonathan Taylor (Shelly Taylor); Dana Lynn Taylor; Lindsay Butler (Jeremy Butler); 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and her brother Steven Wallace and sister Andrea Belcher.
