Joyce Esther Burkhardt Switzer (nee. Burkhardt), 90, of Munster, IN and formerly of Ft. Thomas, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 7th. She was a lifelong member of Christ Church United Church of Christ, Ft. Thomas. Joyce also served as a Licensed Minister at various churches near her community when they were in need. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson Burkhardt & Marie Burkhardt Schoultise and sister, Beverly Meiners. She is survived by her 2 sons, and 4 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. with the Funeral Ceremony to follow at 11 a.m., Monday, December 13th at Christ Church United Church of Christ, Ft. Thomas. Joyce will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials suggested to the UCC Leadership Development Fund at [email protected].
