Born Catherine Gross in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Mrs. Bilotti graduated from Larksville High School in Wilkes-Barre. She moved to Manhattan as a young woman, and settled in South Beach in 1961.
A homemaker, Mrs. Bilotti loved spending time with her grandchildren, who were "her life," said her son, James. "She was an unbelievable wife, mother and grandmother."
She also loved cooking and going to Atlantic City.
In addition to her son, James, surviving are her husband of 50 years, Joseph; another son, Thomas; two daughters, Angela and Cathy; three stepsons, Joseph, Dominick and Charles; two stepdaughters, Connie and Lillian; a brother, Chip Gross; a sister, Doreen Speil, and 10 grandchildren.
Private committal to follow. Friends will be received Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
