She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Dewey Bell and Nellie Dickson Jett. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John David McAdams, sisters, Jennie Mai Lee, Mary Francis Moore, Edna Louise Cook, Katie Bell Stinnett, and Elsie Marie Smith, and brothers, Virgil M. Jett, Thomas Bell Jett, Franklin D. Roosevelt Jett, Charlie Crit Jett
She is survived by sons, Charles McAdams of Eagleville, Jerry Clay McAdams of Atlanta, Randy (Royce) McAdams of Panama City Beach, FL, Joe McAdams of Joelton, Jim McAdams of Lafayette, TN, three sisters, Dorothy Gean McRedmond, Daisy Mai Cozart, and Martha Jane Drake, two brothers, Leonard Jett and Joe Turner Jett, 16 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 9th, 2021 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Bethbirei Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, December 9th, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm and will continue on Thursday, December 9th, 2021 until the funeral hour.
