GREENVILLE - Eadie Benenhaley Billings, 67, wife of Harold Stanley Billings, died on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, at her home in Greenville.
Born on Feb. 14, 1949, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Thomas E. Benenhaley Sr. and Earline B. Benenhaley. She was a member of Enoree Baptist Church in Travelers Rest.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Ronald E. Benenhaley and Johnathan "Bucky" Jones, both of Greenville, Chris Billings (Nicole) of Sumter and Travis Billings (Eve) of Lugoff; two grandsons, Damien "Scooter" Billings of Lugoff and Grant Billings of Sumter; a brother, Thomas Benenhaley (Phyllis) of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Benenhaley; and a brother, Ronald Allison Benenhaley.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Independence, Virginia.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of her brother, 4331 Granada Drive, Sumter.
The family would like to express a very special thanks to Missy Paris for her tender loving care.
