Bob was married to M. Anabelle Tucker on Nov. 6, 1946. They had 3 children, Tom, Judi and Craig. Bob's parents were William Walter Alexander and Caroline (Carrie) Ernestine Bippes. He grew up in Boise. He was living in Nevada working in mining & construction when America entered World War II. Bob joined the US Army & served in both the European and Pacific theaters. He owned Whitney Center Service, a Phillips 66 station, on the corner of Vista & Overland in Boise where he worked with his brother Jim for more than 46 years. He was a member of the Boise Elks, Capital Post, American Legion and the VFW.
