Peggy was born in Fort Worth to Lucille and Robert Swart, on June 29, 1929.

She was a graduate of Tech High School and Cisco Jr. College. During her years in Cisco she was a cheerleader and sang in a country western band. On a weekend visit to her mothers she met Bill Gourley, six weeks later they were married and moved to the family ranch, Vernejo Park, New Mexico. In 1957 they took a three month safari trip were they both got their " Big 5." They hunted in Canada, India, South America, and British, Colombia. While in India they stayed with the Maharaji and Maharani of Jalphur. After Bills death she moved back to Fort Worth, where she met and married, Bill Quiett. Together they had two daughters, Delia Sue and Debbie Rene. Peggy loved pretty fashionable shoes and clothes, she will be remembered for her sense of style and grace.

Peggy leaves behind her family and so many life long friends, many preceded her in death as did her father, mother; and beloved daughter, Delia.

Survivors: Daughter, DebbieRangel, Angela (Jimmy) Linder; grandchildren, Nicole (Jr.) Winstead; great-grandchildren, Kyrie, Seth, Elizabeth, Morgan, Amaya; and one great-great-granddaughter, Isabella and lots of cousins who she loved dearly.
