He was married to wife Eliza, who born him six children - Martha, Thomas H., Mary, Lydia, John R., and Hannah. He worked as a carriage driver.

His daughter, Mary, would marry into the Cliver family, but died in 1891.

Daughter Martha married Samuel Seaman, and had a daughter, Helena K., in 1893. Martha and Samuel died in 1906, leaving Helena to be raised by her grandparents.

Eliza died in 1911.

Daughter Hannah bore a grandson, Eldridge K., in 1894. Isaac would bury his grandson 24 years later when Eldridge died while serving in the US Army in France during World War I.

Issac passed away in 1927, and today lies in the family plot,
