Daughter of William Franklin and Carrie Lee Sports Freeman, wife of Roland Edward Freeman.

MULLINS - Mrs. Lottie Lee Freeman, 97, widow of the late Roland Edward Freeman of Mullins, passed away peacefully at Mullins Nursing Center late Saturday evening, November 27, 2021.

Mrs. Freeman, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina on January 21, 1924, a daughter to the late William Franklin Freeman and the late Carrie Lee Sports Freeman. Mrs. Freeman was a homemaker. She loved to cook and to share her cooking, and everybody loved her cooking. In her spare time, Mrs. Freeman had a love of reading. She was a lifelong member of Millers United Methodist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Freeman are a son, Cecil Allen Freeman (Hilda) of Mullins; a daughter, Helen Marie Rasberry (Frank) of Mullins; three sisters, Willie Mae Turner of Mullins, Ailene Barrington of Columbia and Edna McDowell of Blenheim; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by two sons, Edward Lee "E.L." Freeman and Harry Leverne Freeman; a great grandson, Kyle Rogers; a sister, Gertrude Haynes; and two brothers, Junius Freeman and Bobby Freeman.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 30 in the chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Barbara Webster officiating. Mrs. Freeman will be laid to rest following the service in Millers United Methodist Church Cemetery in Mullins.
