Lowell - Morris Laben "Labe" Abernathy, 86, of McAdenville Rd., passed away on Saturday, December 08, 2007 at his residence.
He was a native of Gaston County, and was the son of the late Morris Laben Abernathy Sr. and Barbara Brittain Abernathy.
INTERMENT: Evergreen Cemetery
Labe was a longtime member of Presbyterian Church of Lowell. He co-owned and operated Abernathy Super Market in McAdenville for many years with his family. Labe enjoyed working outside on his yard and spending time with his family.
