Robert Victor Cantrell Jr. (Cobby), 53, of Route 5 died of an apparent heart attack Saturday afternoon at the Cessna plant at Strother Field where he was employed. He was born August 29, 1920, in Winfield to Robert V. and Josephine Cantrell and spent his entire life in the Winfield area. He graduated from Winfield High School in 1939 and married Doris Annabelle Barnes January 29, 1943. He was a member of the First Chrisian Church.

He is survived by his wife Doris; two sons, Jerry Cantrell of Pueblo, Colorado, Tony Cantrell of the home, one daughter, Mrs. Cathy Neal of Marshall, Texas; his mother, Mrs. Josie Cantrell of Winfield; his brother, Victor Cantrell of Seattle, Washington; his sister, Mrs. Sherrie Tucker of Wellington; and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Morris Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery.
