Mrs. Nancy E. Gray (nee Davis), wife of Sam Gray of Dewey Station, died at her home Monday at 2 a.m., two weeks before her 58th birthday. Death was due to a cancer. She had been ill for some time.

Surviving are her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Maude Nicholson, of Prairie du Rocher. She was born October 25, 1857, at Prairie du Rocher.

She leaves the following sisters and brothers:
Daniel Davis, Ames, Ill.
Grand Davis, Ames, Ill.
Henry Davis, Waltonville, Ill.
Warren Davis, Longton, Kan.
Mrs. Mary Miller, Murphysboro, Ill.
Mrs. Tom Bradley, Kansas
Mrs. Flora Nicholson, Prairie Du Rocher, Ill.
Mrs. Eunice Dueker, Ames, Ill.

The daughter and sister Flora married brothers at Prairie du Rocher.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. to Green Mount Cemetery.
